Have you ever listened to a song and it just sings to you, and you alone. It’s like the artist wrote and sang that song just for you and all your experiences you have gone through.
The song “Nineteen” by Tegan and Sara was written for me… just kidding. But one day when I was listening I could tell it was just describing everything that I was feeling and was feeling the year before when I was nineteen!
Music to me is art coming in a form of music. It can make you feel so awesome, sad, happy, scared, and really every other emotion out there.
I could never do it. I could never be a musician because I have no idea how they do it. How do Tegan and Sara take experiences and then make songs out of them. Not just songs either, beautiful, peaceful songs. Honestly I used to not like them, but now I absolutely adore them.
The weird thing is I really have nothing in common with the artists, but for some reason I can relate to music and lyrics that were written for things that I have not really experienced. Words change for every person listening to the song!

i love that song! its amazing!
music is universal, no matter what ur religion or back ground, ethnicity, or heritage. Music brings people together. It's so incredibly powerful and amazing.
I also find it amazing that certain songs can take you right back to a time when you heard it, or a person that reminds you of it for whatever reason. Music really is a great connector.
Music can bring us together...
Music can also separate us, especially those of us who cannot agree with the use of or lyrics from some music.
But one of my favorites is "Where does the good go", i'll be sure to illegaly download that one later
