Do you think inter-racial dating is okay? I mean, yes, it's getting more and more acceptable, but do you think it should be? Do you think people should stick to their own race? I personally think it shouldn't matter what color skin you have. It only matters what's deep within as long me and him love each other soo much. When it comes to inter-racial dating and race mixing, some people get upset because they are racist and can't understand how you would dare to contradict their ignorant beliefs.
Other people get upset, because they give in to the racial prejudice of the people above. They are afraid to take a stand against the aggressive and vocal ignorance of racists. They adopt a 'don't rock the boat' mentality and live their lives against their own views and bend to the will of bullies. They basically fear for their relatives/friends mixed race children, and indeed for the couple themselves, because they worry about how the vocal and agressive, racist section of society will treat them.
Both Black and White separatists hold the misguided and simplistic view that the various races were never meant to mix. That it is against nature. Some base this on the flat-Earth notion that nature seperated the races by oceans, and that we have perverted the course of nature by finding ways for the races to meet. I say this; If we weren't meant to mix, we wouldn't be able to reproduce together. It's common sense, I mean, if a man has sex with a dog, the dog doesn't give birth to half man, half dog offspring, or any offspring for that matter. That is because it is against nature.
So in short inter-racial dating is okay. Those who don't agree can be slotted into the two catagories I mentioned at the start of my comment.
Everyone of different races should breed together until there is little to no variation in skin tone. Then we would have one less thing to worry about.

i've noticed in my own experiences that it seems people are more upset when a woman of color and a white man date. i think in our communities (communities of color) there is a lot of resistance to conforming to white culture, i mean generally. so i think that by dating a white man, to many, because of a history of violence, feel that it is like dating the white slave plantation owner, the man who raped the indigenous... it's like selling out in the most intimate way because it's who you love or like deeply.
i don't mean to say that i'm all for separation of races cuz i don't even think race exists like that (it's a social construct), but it's a huge part of the reason why it's hard to date interracially without getting nasty stares and looks or comments.
but really though, i give you much love and respect for crossing borders and being with someone despite all the BS. just be strong and remember who you are and where you come from.

Take away the skin of anybody and guess what you get? The same anatomy as everyone else. Racial diversity is one of the many things that make this country so great. You are exposed to many other races, unlike other coutries that are never exposed to any other race.
But at the end of the day, everyone bleeds red. We all have hair, maybe different colors, but that doesn't matter, we all still are the same in the basic aspect. We all cry, laugh, and take joy in our particular joys of life.

I do not think interacial kids are beautiful what so ever. There are some black/white mixed people that seriously look like they are sick. Their skin color is an off green.

Want to know why I do not agree with it. Within the next two generations red heads will no longer exist because of interbreeding. Less then 2 percent of Native Americans are still fullblooded Native Americans.
There really is no such thing as the "white" race because there are so many different nationalities breeding into the "white" race. Hell I have German, Cherokee, Blackfoot, Potowanomi, English, and Dutch in me. I may look white but I am far from it. I am Majority Native american. Hell you might as well call me a Nazi English Native American Amishmen.
I hate the white race for what they did to my Native American Ancestors but I had to learn to like them because it is part of me. Just like any minority needs to stop whining and realize that things are not going to change.

Things have changed massively already in a very short period of time. I think your problem with history is that it is very short-sighted. You seem to think that 100 years ago is a long time back.
My boyfriend is a blonde, born to two brunettes. My sister is similarly a blonde, born of two brunettes. My skin is practically as fair as possible, but my mom has Olive toned skin, and my dad has a darker tone than I do. My boyfriend's friend has red hair, and her parents have black and dark red hair. Probability says she should have very dark hair. Genes have a way of reasserting themselves after many generations.

My whole family is pretty much mixed with everything from Irish, West Indian, Filipino, Vietnamese, to German, Polish, Black, and Native America. No one is green. No one look sickly. I have seen "white" people who are so pale they look dead.

You obviously have not done studying outside of your public schooling history. They say that but if you actually look in depth outside any government made book it will tell you what they wanted.
See one thing that you and many others need to realize is that the school system will only teach you what the government wants you to know. You have to look out at sources in which the government has no say over.
