ocho cinco

yesterday chad johnson, the star wide reciever on the cincinati bengals, changed his name to ocho cinco.  He told reports he wasn't chad johnson he said his name was ocho cinco (his number is 85).  alright first oh all that is not how you say 85 in spanish! lol.  Then he tapped "ocho cinco" over his name on the back of the jersey.  I can't see what bothers me more, the arrogence of him being so cocky that he'd tape over the name of his jersey, of the ignorance of him butchering the spanish langauge for attention.  His teammates seemed really ticked off about it.  I say carson palmer (their quarterback) run over to him and just rip it off his back.  can't really blame him i mean i'd be annoyed if i had that guy on my team regardless of how many plays he makes a game

Hes got to have a reason. Did he give one?

That is completely ridiculous! I bet it was just some publicity stunt. I hate how celebrities get away with stupid things like that. It reminds me of all the silly names that celebrities have started naming their kids--like Apple. I just don't get it. I know that people do this on purpose--just to be different but I personally wouldn't want that different of a name.

Obviously he didnt legally change his name to "ocho cinco" so it probably is just a publicity stunt. which really is a shame.

lol I have one of those "stupid" names and so do both of my children. Theres no crime in giving your child a unique gift. However thats probably not what this guy is doing. Big difference. But ultimately no difference. Its all about whether we let if get our panties in a bunch.
