Newt Gingrich, the former House Speaker who fought to impeach President Clinton for having an affair with Monica Lewinksy, has recently admitted to having an extramarital affair himself at the same time that he was leading the charges against President Clinton. Right-wing conservative and possible Republican Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich revealed these hypocracies during an interview with James Dobson, founder of the Christian Group, "Focus on the Family." During the interview, transcribed by Associated Press, Gingrich reasons that his sexual affair was less immoral than the President's because President Clinton was a leader of the government who needed to uphold the law more so than other citizens. This is a major fallacy in judgment, as all people, no matter what their status in government, should abide by the same laws and have no right to accuse others of committing the same felonies that they themselves have secretly committed. This isn't the first example of Gingrich's unethical actions. in 1998, he resigned from Congress after facing charges that he used tax-exempt funding to further his political interests. This corrupt politician can be credited with overshadowing the great achievements of Clinton's presidency with an over-publicized sexual affair.

That is really funny. Newt Gingrich's statement therefore is going against the fact that all men are equal under the law. I suppose Newt Gingrich's position as Speaker of the House isnt a powerful leadership position in the government either. I think what Slimy old Newt is really saying is that his affair wasnt that bad because it didnt come out until after the fact. How ridiculous. That is just like Republicans to skewer Democrats for immoral actions that they themselves engage in. I hope Newt gets throttled.
