Okay, recently I have been chastised in an immature manner regarding the lengths of my posts. Then I noticed people chastising others and setting out rules for posting to blogs. Heres the deal. Those rules do not apply to my blogs and I don't wish discussion to be minimized on my blogs. If you wish to post on one of my blogs, I would ask that you consider these guidelines. I will not of course, destroy you if you don't. I may decide to not read or respond to your comments if you don't. It is no big loss.
If you don't like the way that I am commenting on your or other blogs that are not your own, you are perfectly free to skip skim or not read my comments at all. Please do not leave comments with abusive langauge about the lack of conformity of my comments to your concept of how it should be.
Now on my blog I would prefer:
You leave comments as long or as short as you like to get your point across. Please do not limit your length because of other people's criticism. If they don't like it they can skim or skip your comment.
You try to be well thought out and use critical thinking or be entertaining or informative especially if its longer. But you don't have to. Its just what I like best.
I don't mind links.
I love pertinent or funny youtube/myspace video links.
Please do not insult each other. Now, in a debate like this great experiment of a website there are going to be some ad hominem attacks or passionate opposing feelings. This is alright. But if you feel like you have to result purely to tearing the other person down and it has nothing to do with the post or the comments, please private message them.
You may disagree or make personal remarks about others as long as they are respectfully phrased and with thought.
Passions are allowed to rise. It they do, please make sure there is some thought or point in your post.
If you speak of reasons from the bible, I really like to have a reference and version so I can look it up.
Mulitple and opposing opinions are welcomed and engouraged.
Know that if you post it others will be free to respond to it, and probably will if they disagree. If thats not okay with you, you may want to consider not posting it, or not reading the replies.
Other than that, please feel free to comment. I won't hunt you down, or computer bomb you if you don't follow the above.
The only thing I will take real action on is if repeated harrasment occurs and does not stop on request. Then I would take that to the moderators of this site. I have not experience that yet.

No, perhaps I misspoke. Instead of if I'm comenting on your or others blogs, don't tell me how to comment, I meant If I'm commenting on other's blogs.
Of course if you have preferences and aren't just being a deliberate pain I'm going to respect those preferences. (I say that because you're the typ who might say, fine then my prefence is you insert f**ck every five words, just to test me.)
I was really talking to those on whose blogs I'm not but want to control my comments on another persons blog.
Also please note, I said you were free not to follow any of these guidelines except don't harrass me. And I will not harrass you.

My punishment for not doing it your way. You get to skip or skim my post. Its pretty even. The purpose of this blog was to let others who might silence or trim themselves do to other blogs know that I want them to comment as long as they like.
And then the other stuff I said was my preference. But there not really nazi-ish.
