What I learned this year, pertains to my own knowledge of life. Emerson once said, "To be great is to be misunderstood." At the same time, Emerson tried to emphasize the importance of being an individual. I now realize that if it were not for Emerson, my thoughts would have remained neutral all this year, and I would of not been able to expand my intelligence as much as I have already.
In the beginning of my junior year, I wrote how I would want to improve myself Academically, Socially, and on a Personal level. Looking back on that, I didn't quite accomplish what I was intending to, but what came of it was so much better. Having learned that recently I recieved a scholarship to the Southwest School of Art and Craft, and an applying for the summer program for young artists at the Chicago Art Institute, there is nothing that can derail my plans.
Academically speaking I know that I'am smart and have no doubts about my knowledge. This may sound somewhat conceided, but I understand that in order for me to achieve excellence in my studies, I would have to believe more in myself then other people believe in me. As for my social well being, it still reamins ambiguous to this day. But at the same time I try not to be a loner as some would call it. On the otherhand my personal level of growth to this day is devoted to my other half, my best friends.
My wisdom in life and the principals I choose to live by, grow every moment of the day. Everything that has inspired me, weather it deal with my goals in life or how I was raised has morphed my mind, body, and soul into what I always wanted to become.
What I have learned so far....

Not bad, but you had some misspelled words:
principal- this is the guy that's over the school. Principle is a though or idea. It really changes the meaning of the sentence you used it in!
conceided- should be conceited.
