Has any one seen the latest story about the 75 year old man who was hit by a car and lay in the street for over 30 minutes as many people and cars passed by not even bothering to even stop and help? What is this world coming to?? This incident is sad and depressing. It turned out that this poor old man ended up being paralyzed from the waist down and is still in the hospital in terrible condition. There was one point in this video where a car was trying to get by and actually drove around his flailing body as he lay in the street. Who does something like that?? I swear if this is how our society functions then I am losing hope in the existence of humanity. I feel that this A****** who drove around him almost running this injured man over for the second time should be held accountable as well!!! I hope they catch both the person who hit him initially as well as the second jerk. As for the people that just stood there watching indiferently they have to live with their own conscience, they obviously don't have any remorse, disgusting!!! I feel that if you see someting like this it is your moral responsibilty to help. This is why the world is going to hell, because the majority of people out there only care about themselves. If the human race continues down this path the fate of our world is very grim. This may seem like a small isolate incident but this is a reflection of our future.

Don't get me started on people I could write an entire blog on it. This is very sad. I have lost hope in humanity. I am a good person and I would have stopped and helped the man. I open doors for people I will pick things up if they drop them. But today I fell off a ladder and hurt my ankle really bad and no one helped me even when I used my walkie before hand. I will still help people no matter what because in the end I will be a better person than them.
I hate to hear about this. This was a good blog and has good grammar/spelling. If you could though please space out your paragraphs similar to how this comment is. It makes it easier to read and you don't lose your place as much. This is sad to hear, but the problem is people just don't trust other people anymore. Because of scams, and lies, also they don't want to get involved, or they are selfish and had things to do...sad to say but it is true.

I haven't heard this story yet. But seriously?? What is wrong with people? I mean, what happened to seeing helping people out when they are hurt? Would it kill you to pick up a phone and call 911? No, but it would kill this man if you didn't. I wish people would just slow down and realize whats goingon around them, then maybe things like this would stop happening. But one can only hope.
