Is anybody else out there disappointed with the presidential candidates available? I am not impressed with any of them. I feel like Obama doesn't have enough experience. He kind of just popped out of nowhere. He's young and charismatic. He reminds me of Bill Clinton just in the sense that he is a very good public speaker. He's a people person and he's using that to his advantage. However, like I said before I dont' think he has enough experience and I also have to wonder about where his loyalties lie. I don't know that much about the man but I do know that I heard something about him being brought up by an Islamic step-father. I heard that he was taught all about the Islamic faith from the sect that like to blow themselves up. I don't know if this is true or if there has been some spin put on it and I will give Obama the benefit of the doubt. I'm not saying it is fact. . .just simply what I have heard. However, if this is true then why would the American people want to put a man like that into a position of authority especially when we're in a war against terror. How convenient would it be for terrorists to have one of their own as president of the United States? I know that Obama professes to be a Christian and for all I know he could be a very devout Christian that is entirely out to serve Christ but I still think that this matter of his Islamic upbringing should be questioned further.
Then there is the famous Hillary Clinton. Where do I even start? I have always felt that the Clinton's will stop at nothing to win. I think that Hillary is a very competitive person and I wonder if she has lost sight as to why she wants to be president. Why is she even running? If it is just to have the title or to gain the authority or just to one up Bill then she needs to reevaluate some things. However, recently on the campaign trail I heard that she stopped the motorcade because some the elderly at a nursing home were all out on the sidewalk just waiting to see her. They came out in their pajamas and wheelchairs with signs showing their support for her. She stopped everything to shake hands and talk to these people. She even sang "happy birthday" to one old woman who had just turned 100. I have to wonder, is this sincere or just another stunt to lock in her nomination?
And last but not least, McCain. First off, he is too OLD! Once you hit 70 you need to think about retiring and spending time with the grandkids. That is not a time to take on a high stress job like president of the United States of America!! What is this man thinking? My vote may be decided based on who he picks for a running mate. He could have a heart attack or something and not be able to finish his term. He's just too old. Step down old man! Retire! Go golfing, soak your dentures, and take a nap! I also think that he might as well be running on the democratic ticket because he is not conservative enough for my taste.
Another thing that bothers me about all 3 candidates is something that you will find is all politicians everywhere (well, most!). I love how you can ask a politician a question and they can speak for minutes, even hours, and never actually answer your question. But somehow, they still come out looking positive, and nice, and on top of things. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN???
Anyway, I'm not satisfied with any of the candidates in this election. It's obvious that President Bush is a good man but a very poor president. Therefore we need to get someone else in office to whip this country back into shape. I'm not sure that any of these three are cut out for the job though.

To address yer question, recently I began to ask my governor, Brian Schweitzer, a question regarding his legacy in the mind's of environmentalists. He wisely interrupted the question I was asking and went on a tirade about obstructionists.
The people who represent us are smart. They know when you're asking a tough question. Even prairie populists like Schweitzer will swoop your questions.
