The irony of it is sickening...
O.J. Simpson has yet to give a penny of the thirty-three and a half million dollars he was supposed to pay to the vicim's family. He has not spent a minute even appearing to "look for the real killer". He goes to clubs and gets lap-dances from young women who resemble his ex-wife. He goes on radio shows and talks about how he did cocaine, stating that "everybody did it". His book, If I Did It, describing how he "would have" killed his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, is set to be released on November thirtieth. It is the closest he's come to confessing to the crime that, because of double jeopardy, he can never be convicted of even if he were to jump on top of his car in front of the , holding the murder weapon in the air and shouting "I did it! Come and get me!" And yet, not because of any action on Simpson's part, this book will have some power to help domestic violence victims.
Major booksellers like Barnes & Noble and Borders have already said that they will stock the book in easily visible places. Barnes & Noble will treat the book's sales like any other book in print, but Borders has planned to do something special. Whenever a copy of the book is sold, the profits from the sale will be donated to a charity that helps victims of domestic violence.
Many independent bookstores have said that they either won't sell the book, will offer limited copies or will sell it on an individual-order basis, with any proceeds going to charity.
Simpson was not paid for the book; the money he would have received is going to his children.

interesting.

From what I understand the book has been cancelled due to O.J. and his lawyers and everyone associated with him and its controversy!
I'm not 100% sure tho!
Yeah, I just heard about it on the news this morning....I don't know whether I'm upset about possible censorship, thankful to be rid of that profane insult to O.J.'s dead ex-wife, disheartened that that good charity money's not going to charity any more, just shoved into some CEO's wallet, or upset that the world won't finally hear O.J. nearly confess...
