It's a bright an sunny day and as I went strolling down the boulevard, I saw something peculiar. It was once one helluva party-favor. They were so hot one day. And yet, when Iraq turned into a complete waste of blood and the economy dipped and dove after the credit bubble burst, I wasn't surprised. It took seeing a nanny-favorite "George Bush 2004" bumpersticker next to Washington plates to really spin me right round.
I almost respect the driver of said sticker tremendously, but for all the wrong reasons. I'm gasping for breath here, because damn, that Human has some serious dedication and resolve-- not only to support a nearly lame duck president with 27% approval ratings, but to not have covered that sucker up with a "my other cars a Hummer" or a "Dont' Mess With TX" axiom or something; please, anything.
I mean, this gal, whoever she is, must seriously support his policies. But then I think no, maybe she simply supports the president and the office he recreates to when he's not golfing. You know, some sort of courtesy thing.
I suppose that just can't be either. Because if that were true, I might have seen some really retro stickers of Clinton and Bush and Reagan... it was an old rig.
It's incredible. This is the electorate we have to work with. There's only one thing I can think of that might compel someone to swoon into such a remorseful infatuation. Maybe she got a tax-break.
Damn it. I hope she lives out the rest of her life with such passion. And I hope someday I'll have the opportunity to shake her hand. At WalMart, lets say.

Man this is a new one. I haven't seen any of those bumper stickers. I would be highly offended if I saw one. Maybe she is just a very confused person. Alot of people don't keep up with politics. This is very sad.
I read faerybliss's blog recently and saw your comment. I want to let you know I at least try to make an effort to read your blogs as much as possiable and rate them as well. Although I am just one person, I hope at least that matters. I try to get to everyone who write good blogs but this is a long task in itself.
Sorry I have not gotten back with you on your documentry. i have alot going on with finals and such. I have also had a crisis with changing my mind on what I want to do in school, etc etc. I promise you I am not neglecting to finish watching it I just haven't had the time. Just wanted to let you know. :) Good blog
