What is your (intended) major/career? I'm majoring in biology, with a minor in history, and have plans to go to medical school.

What issues are you most interested in (women's rights, education, racism, advancement of science, the environment, etc)? Science and medicine. I like to inform people about common misconceptions they might have about different aspects of science (and sometimes religion), particularly when it comes to medicine. I also like to explore other treatments, and the origin of various medications we currently have.

What advice do you have for other bloggers? Be yourself. Don't blog about things you don't like blogging about. If you don't like what you're writing, other people probably won't either. Oh, and run a spelling check, at least, before you post.

Are you in school, and if so, what year are you? I'm currently a senior at the university level, but this is only my third year in college. I plan to graduate in May 2008.

If you had to describe yourself (or your blog) in one word what would it be? My boyfriend goes with weird, and I think that pretty much sums me up.

Out of all your blogs, which is your favorite? It's hard to choose just one I like, but my favorite is probably What is Death?.

If you could take a trip to anywhere in the world, free of charge, where would you go? So many choices. I'd probably tour Australia and New Zealand, or maybe Japan, to get a different perspective than I've gotten during my travels in Europe.

If you had a million dollars to spend on anything but yourself, how would you spend it? I'd donate it to cancer research. So many people I know, including both my grandmothers, have had cancer, and I'd like to see some benefits from the research currently being done. I'd also probably insist on a portion being used for lobbying to make the FDA change their mandatory guidelines for cancer treatment (as some treatments do some groups absolutely no good, but make them impossibly sick in the process).

What achievement are you most proud of? Well, I haven't gotten it yet, but an acceptance to medical school will be by far my best achievement yet. Up until now... probably helping my boyfriend cope with the loss of his sister.

What is your favorite article of clothing and why? My new peacoat. It's just pretty, and nice and thick and warm. I'd freeze in the weather we're having now without it.
