What is your (intended) major/career? Political Science

What issues are you most interested in (women's rights, education, racism, advancement of science, the environment, etc)? One of the most important issues today is the advancement of science through stem cell research. Millions of Americans could have their quality of life drastically improved through federal funding of stem cell research.

What advice do you have for other bloggers? Respect other people's opinions but steadfastly defend your own.

Are you in school, and if so, what year are you? I currently attend Moorpark College (a local community college) as a sophomore and intend to apply for transfer this semester to a number of UC schools for Fall 2008.

If you had to describe yourself (or your blog) in one word what would it be? Progressive? No, I wont take the easy way out. haha Actually, I would probably say honest. I rarely pull punches on my blogs, and have no problem telling people when they are simply being corrupt hypocritical politicos if that how I see people acting.

If you could take a trip to anywhere in the world, free of charge, where would you go? I would go to Italy and visit all the great ancient Roman cities.

What is one thing you've learned from Progressive U that has benefited in your life outside of this site? There are always going to be disagreements among people and some people never let go of their beliefs, its best to approach them with a sense of diplomacy and class and hold yourself to that standard even when they do not.

How are you active in politics/seeking social justice in your community? I am active in community service in the Honors Club at my college.

What is your favorite article of clothing and why? To wear or to see worn? That is the question.
