What is your (intended) major/career? I have a degree in Neuroscience and Optometry and am engaged in a career that involves both academic and clinical pursuits.

What issues are you most interested in (women's rights, education, racism, advancement of science, the environment, etc)? I am very interested in science and the relationship between science and religion.

What advice do you have for other bloggers? Blog about subjects you are passionate about. Also when you blog know what you are talking about. Take the time to look into something before you blog. Something may on the surface sound ridiculous to you but if you actually look at the reasoning behind it, it becomes more reasonable. Don't just try to change the world. Try to change the world FOR THE BETTER. And it is not always easy to determine what is better.

Are you in school, and if so, what year are you? No, I'm on the other side now. I do some lectures but not on anything I blog about.

If you had to describe yourself (or your blog) in one word what would it be? Reasoned.

What's your favorite news source? I generally use Google News to search for stories of specific interest.

Out of all your blogs, which is your favorite? I'm tempted to say my next blog. But that would be a bit disingenuous for the question. I generally put a lot of effort into my blogs so it is not easy to say which one. If I had to choose one I think I will go with this one: http://www.progressiveu.org/165114-so-tell-me-my-friend-how-did-the-univ...

If you could take a trip to anywhere in the world, free of charge, where would you go? The Galopogos Islands. It is there that Charles Darwin found a variety of organisms that led to insights that were instrumental in his developing perhaps the most important scientific theory there is, evolutionary theory.

If you had a million dollars to spend on anything but yourself, how would you spend it? If spending it on my family is not an acceptable loophole in the question, then I would probably donate it to the National Wildlife Fund to help secure natural areas of the world to maintain species diversity of the environment.

What is one thing you've learned from Progressive U that has benefited in your life outside of this site? If I must limit it to one thing, it is the realization of the diversity of opinions that exist in our culture.
