- What is your (intended) major/career? I am a passionate acting/directing major.
- What issues are you most interested in (women's rights, education, racism, advancement of science, the environment, etc)? A few issues that interest me most are: advancement in the race to find cures of terminal illnesses, the mental health and wellness of adolescents, and public education.
- What advice do you have for other bloggers? I just take the time to form complete thoughts and make your blog readable, yet honest. There is nothing worse than a blog full of ALL CAPS or no paragraph breaks!
- Are you in school, and if so, what year are you? I attend Emerson College in Boston as a sophomore.
- If you had to describe yourself (or your blog) in one word what would it be? AnnaLicious.
- Out of all your blogs, which is your favorite? My favorite blog would have to be So That's How It Feels To Watch Your Mother Die, mostly for the fact that it was my very first blog and came from an intensely honest spot in my being. After I wrote that blog, I was sort of hooked on ProgressiveU......MUAH HA HA HA HA!
- If you had a million dollars to spend on anything but yourself, how would you spend it? I'm going to be pretty boring and straight forward with this one: buy a new house for my family, pay for my and my sister's college education, save for the future........okay, maybe I'll buy a monkey or my own caricaturist.
- What is one thing you've learned at Progressive U that has benefited you outside of this site? I have definitely learned that it is more than all right to be intelligent and voice your thoughts. Sometimes I find it difficult to have a good debate or really discuss important topics with my peers because I am busy or preoccupied with trivial things in my life. ProU allows me to sit down and catch up with myself and those around me.
- What achievement are you most proud of? I am most proud of being accepted into Emerson. It has been my dream school for years, and people told me it was too difficult to get into for my major. I took my time, thought it out, and worked as hard and long as I could. I was something similar to a madwoman when I read my acceptance letter. A lot of crying, screaming, grabbing of hair.....you know.
- What's your favorite article of clothing and why? I LOVE SKIRTS. I wear skirts almost every day and rarely wear pants or jeans. My favorite skirt hangs just below my knee and flounces a tad when I walk. It is a black material that never fades or wrinkles and I bought it for only $3! It matches anything and is so comfortable. What's not to love?
