Now knowing what I know... which isn't much but its enough every single person that reads this who does not know what I am talking about are going to roll their eyes and go YEAH right... your only saying that because your leaving in 4 months, but I'm not. (I mean I am leaving in 4 months and that is why I have come to this realization but I wish I had come to this realization YEARS ago.

No matter where you are in your high school career STOP taking it for granted. Everything not just your education but your family and your friends. You'll one day get to the end and realize WOW so much of what I have done was completely worthless and I WISH... You don't want that. You are DONE... its not time to start wishing for things.

I WISH I got to know ____. I didn't get to know someone until this past year and now we are the best of friends. I had the chance to know her my freshman year. I WISH I DID IT THEN... so do it.

I WISH I wasn't as mean to ___. Honestly no one is really going to give a hoot if you stand up to that person once... I didn't. I WISH I DID.

I WISH I took that _____ course. Don't wait til college to experience the world. Hone your skills now... don't just take the popular courses take the courses you want to take. Also don't take the "hard" courses just to put it on your transcript.

I WISH I did better in that _____ class. 2 things... it will end up on your transcript and if you work at it you may actually enjoy it.

This list can go on forever.... Don't be wishing at the end. Take every moment for what its worth an oppurtunity for MORE.

Oh, I second this with all my heart. I was just feeling the same way. With all of the year's activities coming to their ends, I've realized how much really is ending, and how much I wasted. and how much I short-changed myself in highschool. so yes. Amen. haha.

WOW! that sums up my life of regrets. why is that when you're living the moment, you don't think?! it's not fair that you have to linger in the past but at the same time you have to move on with what you got and learn for the future.

this blog, by far, is the most intriguing and self-righteous. rock on!

Thanks both of you for your comments. Much appreciated.

I agree with what you said. I graduated from high school a few years ago but I wish I would have done some of those things. Especially the part about not taking only "hard classes" to show up on your transcript. Honestly, it didn't help me one bit and I HATED those classes! I wish I would have worked a little harder, but I also wish I would have had more fun.
