This is absolutly absurd! I have hated bush ever since the day he was elected to run for president. He has not done very much to help us however he has done a hell of a lot to hurt us. We should not have interfeared with iraq. I believe that it was a good think that we caught Saddam, or Fiedel, who ever it was however not like this. i understand he need to be taken down, however we should not have invaded Iraq. We went in looking for Saddam, and then took over Iraq. I am behind our troops 100% and 100% not behind Bush. He went about everyting in the wrong way. We have killed hundreds of innocent Iraqis, and hundreds of innocent americans, and we are continuing to keep destroying more and more innocent lives. The news papers say this war will probably go on for another 10 years. And it may last alot longer than that because now all the surrounding countrys want to take over Iraq and go to war with the U.S. My question is when will this unneccessary war end. To many people have already lost there lives and there loved ones. Do we really need to loose any more?
Iraq... Bush... ?

I hope that 50 years from now when students take US History classes they are taught about what a horrible president Bush was.
I acknowledge that everyone registered to this site has and is entitled to their own opinion, however, I fiercely advocate the use of correct spelling and punctuation. The majority of users on Progressive are here seeking scholarships for college, and this entire forum should reflect that. This site is intended to be a tool for intellectual discussion on a myriad of issues, not an outlet for pointless rants riddled with elementary grammar. So please, either make a point or stop wasting precious bandwidth.
I agree with you. I also get really upset when people say I don't support the troops if i don't support the war/bush.
It's not about that. It's not about not supporting the troops. It's about not supporting a war that has killed thousands of innocent people.
We say that we are there to stop terrorism then why the HELL did we not get out when we found NO nuclear weapons? and why the HELL did we NOT get out when we starting loosing thousands of our troops.
I also really hope that people will understand in the future how terrible and unjust this war is and how it went against the American people.
but they probably wont because we know that they will say that Bush did what was right for our country in defending it against the terrorists.
That's the beauty of being biast.
first of all markops00 maybe right however these are not kindergarden issues the war on terrorism is a very big deal, and as far as the spelling goes sometimes people make mistakes when there typing fast like i do or there is the issue of punctuation and i know that i have a habbit of not using correct punctuation all the time, and im sorry.
second i totally agree. however the problem is we really have no idea whats going on in iraq, because the media has been lying to the public to protect Bush, and to keep people from chaos. in some cases thats good however when they are doing this do keep Bush's "good rep" thats wrong.
