Is my past My Future?

I am trying to run away from my past, from what made me and for good reason.  But I can’t help but be dragged by it.  What is the past?  Well it’s represented by many things.  The look of a person might ignite it or a situation.  My whole question is that if we are destined to follow our past.  Can a person change?  Or will I end up as the one thing I am running from I think I’m in control but who knows maybe I’m just in the opposite.

Well it depends on your past I guess. Your past shapes your future. If you don't like your past, than don't let it control you
