Ok so I am in the blogging scholarship race thing. This isnt the only reason I am writing on here. I have a myspace. I have a free open diary. Neither one of which do my blogs do anything for me. Some blogs I write in order to just vent and all I get from either is 1-attacked for apparently being a drama queen, or 2-nothing. One aspect people need to pay attention to for "progressive" living. This whole competition is about progressive blog writing. One thing for our generation that creates a lot of problems is the pressure that has built up over the generations. Though some do not go to college and succeed, many that dont go to college dont get as many good opportunities. College creates a TON of stress. (How do I pay for college? How am I going to get through school a job and not die of my brain frying? How can I keep a social life with classes.....? Why is the drama getting to me so bad? etc, etc, etc) Ok so getting past the stress is not so easy. Its actually more stressful sometimes to destress than it is to ignore it. so the point of this entry? Some destressin ideas that you can fit into your school, job, sleep, friends & relationships, and wanting to eat as well.
**One thing is excercise. Ever heard of the freshman fifteen? Oh yes, the infamous weight gain that every girl around known to the college world hates. Excercise may not be fun, but has been proven to help destress. SO, when your doing homework before you fry your brain by keeping up the hw train for six and a half hours, pause every half hour or so for five to ten minutes, take your books put em back in your backpack and lift some weights. do some bicep curls and do some squats. repeat 2-3 times.
**One hw free day a week. or at least one night out each week. You need a break people!
**Pick a favorite show and watch it religiously. it'll give you enough drama to get wrapped up in, but it's all fake, so no worries. Then when your friends start talking crap, tell them you have enough drama and you dont need more.
**Talk it out. Talking always helps.
Ok..so obciously there are more ways to destress, but these are just some of my ways. I also have girls night (my night off). It wont save you from all the stress, but it will help you out a little. I'll get back soon with more..*cough cough* important posts a little later.
