And this same progeny of evils comes
From our debate, from our dissension;
We are their parents and original.

-- A Midsummer Night's Dream --

This site, this "scholarship," has become pointless and a sham. I am saddened by what I've seen here, saddened at how our society thinks these days. I am grieved at the lack of original thought, the lack of care for the fellow human, the lack of trust, and the horrendous amount of arrogance. I am disgusted how little grammar people have, more so, how little appreciation for the greats they have.

The majority of people who blog, blog about nothing, a lot of nothing. Those who blog about something blog little. Blogs aren't voted on by how well the blogger wrote and presented their stand, but by how much the reader likes what they wrote about and agrees. Bloggers blog randomosity that are rated high, and those with issues important all too oft rate low.

Progressive:
1 happening or developing gradually or in stages; proceeding step by step
2 (of a group, person, or idea) favoring or implementing social reform or new, liberal ideas
• favoring or promoting change or innovation
noun - innovator, reformer, reformist, liberal, libertarian.

I don't see progression, I see mindless drones spending all day blogging/commenting while at the same time they are saying nothing. And those who blog/comment about something, they are unwilling to take in another's views. There is no open mindedness about anything: Government, Life, Freedom, Finding yourself, Religion, Personal views. Everything is on radar, and when you show the slightest image of falling from these Borgs, they attack. "One mind, one body." That is the Borg motto and life.

I have seen no real sympathy or empathy for one another on this site. Yes they say, "Oh I'm sorry." But you could give them help.

Lord, what fools these mortals be!
-- A Midsummer Night's Dream --

The point of this blog is to progress. Progress into a new era with thinkers who branch from the central system. Be many, not one.

The point of this blog has gone awry. I see people posting about a day at school that was horrible because someone said something stupid. I see blogs of emotions, of poems, but short stories or forbidden. I see people writing in big bold letters with like 4 words on each line, just to make it seem longer. This blog is a sham and not worth the effort. To all on here, get a life other than blogging. Socialize in person with peers and elders, not just typing on the inter-web.

So, goodnight unto you all.
Give me your hand, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.

-- A Midsummer Night's Dream --

Act V, Scene I -- the final act of AMND. And this, this too shall be my final act... Fare thee well, I pray you all find knowledge and originality within yourself.

What a piece of work is man! how nobel in reason! how infinte in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension how like a god: the beauty of the world! the paragon of animals! And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me;

Well, if that's how you feel, farewell. But, I must disagree, for the most part. Hope you reconsider. If not, bye.

I do not socialize with any one on this website. I might have a discussion, but I don't make plans with anyone. I write what is on my mind. Isn't that what blogging is about? Do you feel this way about people who use diaries? It is all of the same thing minus the internet connection.

It sucks that you feel this way...

Journaling and diaries are completely different. It's just you and your thoughts, no one else reads them. Here, it is socialization. You're talking to people, but solely through the internet. I didn't mean to imply that you meet them in person. Actually, that was my point. That people see this as their major source of "socializing" when all they do is sit at their computer screen writing, waiting, writing, and waiting. Were is the interaction with people in person? Where is the ability to get to know someone other than what they type? I admit, words can speak a lot about a person, but first impression leaves so much more. And if, on this site, your first blog makes people angry, then you are pinned as a certain person. So if they meet you in person (which I pray you only do that in a open protected environment) then they will still see you that way. One on one, person to person; that's socializing. Todays society finds socializing through the net and video games like XBox or Wii... it's sad and this site is a sham so is the scholarship.

Question, why do people "care" so much if I leave? Because they can no longer comment more on ridiculous blogs as I post? Hmm...

It allows you discuss, debate or whatever with people who you ordinarily wouldn't be able to.

Sounds pretty self absorbed to me.
