How do sex offenders get it so easy?

So I almost deleted this fastweb offer when I seen the word blog. But then I realized that it's not just blogging about your boring life & dramatic problems, it's about current issues & giving opinions. I can definittely do that.

So when I was thinking of what I could write about...so many things came into mind; particularly one recent event.

I was sitting in a 4 hour driving class that in KY is required to take. (By the way-the most boring class of my life) But she did have a lot of interesting facts. She was actually trying to persuade us to not steal "STOP" signs or vandalize them when she told us that just recently a man was sentenced 20 years for stealing a "STOP" sign. 20 years...

The only thing I could think of is...why aren't they that harsh on sex offenders? Put the "STOP" sign stealers on a website & the real criminals in jail. That's my theory on it. I'd much have a sign theif living down the road from me than the sex offender I found on that website.

20 years for costing our government money. While sex offenders get what? A picture on a website & a slap on the hand. That is ludacris! 20 years for a sign, when a sex offender has scarred someone for the rest of their life & they get minimum punishment.

What is the world coming to? How is our country being presented when murderers & sex offenders walk the streets while theives are spending the rest of their lives in jail. That "STOP" sign must have been a wreck. I can only imagine how damaging that was...
