It's amazing how much we dont know about the blind world. We cant understand why people who are blind, don't want to get their vision restored. Yes, some people whoa re blind for a short period of tme want their vision back while others dont.
Blind people see things in a totally different light. They live in the world of their own images and know that if they should have the surgery, those images would be lost forever. Blind people have their own world, they sense people in their on unique way and are afraid to loose it.
Why shouls someone blind be forced to restore his vision. How can we be judges when we never entered that blind world. I believe that all people have a choice, and blind person shouldnt be forced to restore his vision.

I don't mean to seem rude but have you actually talked to someone who is blind about this? I attend a residential school for the blind and out of the many people I've met not only from attending school here but from other blind schools across the country, I have not met one person who feels that way. I personally, have albinism and wouldn't want to be without it because it's made me the person I am but I have not ever met a person who, if they could get their vision restored, wouldn't.
