Somewhat Libertarian, Definitely Conservative Continued

*I am for complete, unbridled capitalism. I shudder at any government regulations on business except for two exceptions: 1. worker safety regulations, and 2. child labor laws.
* I support Americans’ Second Amendment Rights!
*I want to close our borders! I want a real fence on both our northern and southern borders. If amnesty is offered once I am positive that no more illegals are entering my country, I’m likely to be more receptive to the idea, but in the mean time, I whole-heartedly oppose it.
*I oppose the Fairness Doctrine. If any particular group has the loudest voice, they have obviously gained it because the American people want to hear them. If that’s the case, the government has no right to limit freedom of speech in this (or any other) way.
*I oppose the entire public school system. This opposition comes from the most fundamental level. I do not think the government has any right to raise our kids. That’s the parents’ job.
*I support the Fair Tax.
*I want a colorless society.
*I oppose universal health care.
* I oppose the entire “Tax the rich. Give to the poor,” motto that has gained so much momentum in recent years.
*I want to reduce the bureaucracy.
*I think Global Warming is a scam. I do not think it is man-made.
*I oppose giving rights to animals.

You want anarcho-capitalism with Christian restrictions put in place.

Let me guess:

1) Homeschooled

2) Never been off Mommy and Daddy's health care

3) Middle Class

4) White Anglo-Saxon Protestant

5) Ignorant of the history of the tax system in America

6) Opposed to human rights (humans are animals, genius).

7) Opposed to the central moral tenet of your own religion.

8) As a follow up to 7, I'm going to assume you've never read Rawls.

Splitting it is a crafty grab for points, though. Props.

you worded that almost exactly as I almost did.

I used clever instead of crafty. ;-)

I personally favor a little more regulation of business.

Do you want unregulated strip mining without an obligation for reclamation?

Should industry be able to dump industrial waste into rivers?

Do you have any concerns about the quality of your food supply?

But basically more freedom and personal responsibility is a good thing.

Jack

Thank you for pointing that out. You're right. I'm still not for government regulation on the whole, but safety (such as toxic waste and the food supple) is crucial (hence my support of worker safety regulations). I might put that in a future blog, if I write more on the topic.
