Everyday, countless landfills are being bombarded with thousands of tons of trash from millions of homes across the country. All of the trash gives off tons and tons of carbon emissions, which just adds to the already staggering amount of green house gas in our planets atmosphere. What's worse, is that most of the trash that is going into the ground will take hundreds, if not thousands of years to decompose. What happens when we fill the land with junk? Oceans maybe? We will start to put our trash into outer space? What can be done to stop the nonsense? The answer is recycling.
It's simply enough. Instead of throwing a piece of paper into the garbage can, just put it in a box that will later on be recycled. It's no different than taking out your trash, and is just as easy. Recycling your old chemistry notes may mean a whole role of toilet paper, or post-it notes.
Practically everything that is made can be recycled. Aluminum cans are no exception. In many states, recycling centers will pay a person for their old cans. Your aluminum cans may be included in some of the parts in your new environmently car.
Recycling really is one of the easiest and best things that a person can do to help the environment.

Plus reusing things like plastic cups can cut down somewhat. Doing the laundry less could help. Recycle paper instead of tossing it in the trash.
There are plenty of ideas on how to reuse or recycle, but not enough people do it. I wonder what the statistics would look like? Showing a percentage of people who recycle/reuse items vs people who do neither might be a valuble incentive for people to change.

Mind Control is Easier Than You Think
Reducing the amount of stuff you use is also important. Drinking tap water, using your bath towel more than once, and using plastic bags for trash bags, etc. are all good ways to reduce your use.
