There has been a recent school of though that global warming was going to create a real issue for future generations. Last month a study was published saying that the global tempurature actually dropped last year. Over the last hundered years the global tempurature hasn't really changed that much. Climates change.. we had an ice age for no apparent reason. These sort of statements make people doubt global warming.
I dont know about global warming one way or the other. What i do know is that it is our responcibility to take care of our planet with or without global warming. No matter what the effects are, all of this pollution cannot possibly be of possitive effects to our planet. We use too much energy and oil, pollute too much, recycle too little, and overall do not take proper care of our planet. Personally i dont care if global warming is happening or not... we can't continue to treat our planet like this.
I suggest a more eco-friendly USA. Other countrys have far more recycling insentives than we do. I suggest we promote recycling, and switch to a half electrical/ half solar powered system. We dont have the technology to run on solar alone yet, so we could go half and half until we have better technology. We need to produce more hybrid cars and focus more on finding a renewable sorce of energy,
Maybe the world won't melt in the next 50 years, but dumping polution into our earth cannot be healthy... its time we start to make a change.
