What is so nice about spring break? I think that all can agree that it is a well deserved break from school. Other than that, what’s the hype all about? Some are going to go out of the country to some tropical hide away and get inebriated. I see no problem in drinking, you want to have a few drinks go for it. I just want to know where the fun is in getting shit faced when you’re on vacation. It’s a waste of money to go if you’re just going to drink like that. That’s not to say that having fun is not aloud. Besides, everything is so crowded. I just don’t see the point in going to some tourist trap at that point of the year. Is it the type of thing you do just to say you did it? I don’t know, I guess that I would just rather go when things are a little less crowded and I can enjoy my time.

I've never been a fan of MTV-esque spring breaks where it's just a bunch of partying and drinking. Because first off, how is that hugely different from college life in general? If you're going on vacation, do something you don't already do on a regular basis. And secondly, that kind of thing just bores me. After a hectic second semester of school, I just want to vegetate and not think for a week.
