I have always had a friend that I have been particularly close to and I have always thought he would never like me well it turns out he has liked me just as long as I have liked him but now we are seniors and there is only 4 months until graduation and I have a boy friend. I have often thought about what I would do if this situation ever came up and I have yet to find a logical answer. The conclusion I have come to though is this although we have never dated or done anything physical we are both attracted to each other and once we both were honest about how we feel we became closer than ever. we are now closer friends than we have ever been and I absolutely love the fact that not only do I have one guy to talk to about absolutely everything I have two my best friend which is my boy friend and my other best friend who will always be my best friend. Life is full of choices who to date and who to be friends with, but the way I see it the right person will come along and you will always have a best friend.
should friends be more than friends?

Being friends with someone is the best foundation for a relationship. You would know that there's something there more than just physical chemistry.
I think its best if your friends with someone for a little while before you start actually dating that way you know that you are actually interested in the other person deeper than just there looks.
I almost refuse to date anyone without knowing them for a period of time. I need to know I can be friends with them before I could ever be intimate. :]
I'm glad you were given the gift of best friends and a suitable boyfriend, and it's great that admitting your feelings did not create any problems.
what are you trying to say? you cant decide between your bf or ur best friend? do u wanan date tehm both? i am a lil bit confused! its nice that you have such awesome best friend but why would you ask people if you shoulddate him when you have a bf you care about?
It's not that I want to date them both. not at all I was just trying to make the point people should get to knoweach other before dating.

Many of us have crushed on a close friend, and some of us decide to fess up to these feelings. It's a relief when the crush turns out to be mutual, but it's not always smooth sailing from there. Turning a friendship into a romance can be an exciting possibility, but it's also a tricky task.
