Today a 15 year old girl, Emily McIntire,from Chesapeake, Va found a corn flake that is the shape of Illinois. She says she found it while grabbing a fistful of corn flakes on her way to class. She was just about to eat it when she realized that it had the resemblance of Illinois. Her parents jokingly suggested to try and sell it for fun. And that she did. She and her sister listed "The Great Illinois Corn Flake" on EBay
Her sister says, "At the moment it's residing in a fine jewelry box with a lot of cotton wrapped around it to keep it safe," said Melissa McIntire. The flake has passed the $500 mark.
Just imagination how much corn flakes we have eaten that have had the resemblance of just one of the fifty states. I could have been $500 richer if I paid attention to every single shape of corn flake I ate.
This is a lesson for me, next time I pick up a box of corn flakes I'll check to see if and of the flakes resemble any state. I would probably get more money if its a foreign state like France or England or India.
Would anyone really pay $500 for a corn flake the shape of Illinois? Well, that person is probably very proud of their state or just has money to go around because not everybody has $500 to by a piece of cereal.

I just worte a blog too called "Hey! I just Found Jesus in My Cheetos!" I just can't believe people would actually buy some of this stuff. But if it puts money in your pockets then hey, I can't argue with that. :-S
Yea I know I don't understand why they would purchase such weird things, but I'm not complaining if it ends up in my pocket.
It's kind of weird how much value people place on that kind of stuff...that $50 could have been used for something more legitimate...
