I am a mutt
A mix
My own special breed
Constantly watching
As the purebreds
Strut themselves in this dog show life
Spanish ladies
With their yappy voices
Swaying their tails in an exotic dance
Black chicks
Singing a chorus
With their strong voices
Asian girls
Looking small and dainty
But still cute, nonetheless
But the worst
These stereotypes
The proud, the few
White bitches
Their fluffy tresses
Their delicate walk
They back me into a corner
Their talks of superiority
Their proud, pure, heritage
But I am a mutt
I fight back
I have a heritage
They gawk
They sigh
They laugh
Heritage?
They playfully ask
You have none
I growl
I grin
I attack
I am a native
To your oh-so-long-ago
Foreign land
I am a slave
A prisoner of a religious war
A druid
I am an artist
A lover of fine things
Of wine and or paintings
I am as pure as snow
As cold, as pure as
A nomad among the settled
Many more heritages
Many more bloodlines
Many more people, lost
They are all in me
More than the surface
Will allow you to see
Even if
I do know
Them all
I am still here
I have a heritage
Though it is not always seen
I am a mutt
A mix
My own special breed

That is a cute dog blog!
I like this. People seem to think that natives just suddenly popped into existence within the last few hundred years or something. It's like they don't realize that we have a heritage that is beautiful and artistic.
