Okay, so I dont really KNOW, but i definitely have a theory.
I think that the man who killed Biggie was....(hold your breath).....none other than....P.Diddy. (you can breathe now).
Alright so, before you get all "How dare you accuse Him??!!!" on me, listen to my points. Of course I need to research a bit further but, my theory is based on some things that I have come to realize recently.
In order to believe this theory, you must believe one thing: P.Diddy has an obsession money. If you arent convinced of this, lets take a look at the past couple years. "Making the Band". So if you watch MTV you know that P.Diddy has done a billion (this is an exaggeration) MTB seasons in the past 4 or 5 years. Where are our celebrities now??
Danity Kane came out last year...but where are they now? I think they dissappeared. So...yeah, theyre probably still somewhere singing and such, but P.Diddy is a HUGE artist/producer making money of the show and the few albums they sold.
Its no surprise that these groups dont go anywhere. After the first two bands he made, Im sure P.Diddy knows that it isnt the artists music that is making him money...its the Television show. Why else do you think he keeps doing it Season after Season? Its like he got the money from the show and abandoned the artists thereafter. Why was his summer single with a member from the Pussycat Dollz instead of one of his own artists?? In my city (Tallahassee, FL) the radio station refuses to play Diddy's MTB artists music because they are disgusted with the way he uses these young people just for money.
So here's the theory. We all know that money and greed can lead someone to kill. P.Diddy, made millions off of Biggies death. Some say "oh, Diddy would never do that, they were best friends!" Right...people murder family members for money. Even B.I.G said in an interview that when you have a lot of money, you dont know who to trust, you dont know who your friends are.
Tupac Shakur died shortly before Biggie did. This could have provoked Diddy to kill Biggie for two reasons. 1) The up in album sales for Tupac. (Diddy thinks wow, B.I.G is my artist, they are in the same playing feild, if he died, I would sell tons more...) and 2.) This is a perfect way to disguise himself. Lets all blame it on the East Coast/West Coast beef. That is exactly how it happened. Most assumed that B.I.G was killed as a retaliation of the death of Tupac.
Now I also want you to notice some other things about the aftermath of Biggie's death. P.Diddys first hit: Missin' You. Of course, this is after he made the money off of the albums sold as a result of Biggies death. So we all know that a friend, of course would miss a friend after his/her death. But this song was a HIT. And not until then was Diddy recognized as an artist rather than a producer. Diddy cant sing, Diddy cant rap, Diddy cant dance...he can, however, strategically determine how to make money. ITS MONEY IN THE BANK to make a song about a person whom everyone misses. And I wouldve thought that Diddy was just making a sincere "I miss you song" if he had just stopped there.
NOOOOOOOO!!! Talentless p.Diddy continues to make songs. If you know anything about the music industry, you know that in order to maximize your profit as an artist, you should be your own producer. Hello? You get like 80% of the profit. P.Diddy is already the producer and owner of the Music label. What trouble is it to sign himself? If he were to sign a new artist, he would have to pay the artist AND himself. But now, he can just pay himself. (I think its smart).
So now, take a look at recent events. The Album that came out "Duets" definitely exploited Biggies Legacy. Diddy was clearly using Biggie to make money...still. Why would he wait so long? Well if he had released it in 2000 or earlier than that, he would have been suspected even more. I dont believe that Diddy literally took the gun and murdered him, however, I do believe that he could have/ may have paid someone to do the dirty work for him.
Like I said earlier, this is a theory. But theorys do have the possibility of being true. I will investigate further and get back with you on this. I think I might be on to something....

I don't like him (P. Diddy). He annoys me. And holy crap, the man can't even sing. But, did he do it? Who knows?

the theory is outrageous (imo)..I have never heard anyone doubt Diddy

NAW, i do not think that he ever thought like that but he definitely knows how to spin things to get the benefit out of them but he isn't a killer and if he somehow actually is...then he has almost all of us played and in the palm of his hands..

Exactly!! Diddy had money, a good amount of it to. And a large part of that money was coming from his artists. But Diddy's empire was not so huge until Biggie died.
Really...is the idea so outrageous? In murder cases such as these, the killers are sometimes the people you least expect. Why? Because they can get away more easily. We have sympathy for Diddy because he "lost a friend." Why would we blame him?
You dont find it odd that Diddy was not in the car with Biggie? That he was in another one, following closely behind with all of the Bad Boy security and body guards?

I believe he did. This song was not put out by itself. It was featured on Diddy's first album. The song was made for money. Diddy knows the music business. He had made enough records and managed enough successful artists to recognize what made money and what didn't. He knew he could milk Biggies death for the money because six months earlier, Tupac had died. His album sales skyrocketed after that. Biggie also died maybe about 10-20 days prior to the release date of his album. Giving the media just enough time to make him more famous than he already was.
I wouldnt quite refer to my theory as pessimistic. The "who killed Biggie" mystery remains unsolved after over ten years. I think it might be a good idea to go with the "everyone is a suspect" attitude. Whoever committed the murder had a thoughtful scheme and left no traces behind.
I just don't think so but I maybe wrong, it doesn't seem plausible to me but to you it does..who knows, you maybe right

Oh, and about MTB. Like I said, Diddy seems to feature all BUT his MTB artists in the singles he releases. He had so much faith in them on the show. Why wont he put them on his songs? Besides that, how many MTB series' does it take to realize that your bands wont succeed?
He's a business man...he knows what he's doing. Is he really looking for potential band members, or is he looking for t.v ratings? In the last season of MTB, the boys had to box each other. Wow...so boxing makes you a better singer/performer?? On his first MTB, was it really necessary to make his artists walk up and down NYC for some cheesecake?? Its amazing what he will put others through for the success of his television show...for some extra money.

ALL reality tv shows are horrible excuses for entertainment or whatever, Come on...
I hate his MTB series but I like it not much better than the other shows I see such as the Real World (WTF? is it really?), Flavor of Love, Charm School, Flavor of Rock, Hogan Knows Best and other bull shit on tv (i only enjoy some stuff from TLC and maybe the food network)
HE is not the only one who is in it for making millions and quite frankly the whole idea of showcasing potential celebrity thru these shows leaves no surprise and curiosity in my opinion, for some people...it does make them interested but In my opinion, i lose interest in them.

i agree that diddy isnt the only one who does t.v for ratings. I was just trying to make a p oint that he will do a lot for money. Season after season he makes a band, and season after season they disappear. DOES HE CARE ABOUT HIS ARTISTS? or does he just want to make the money??
Well you know that you really could have a point to this theory because it is quite strange how everyone he signs all of a sudden stops singing/rapping. He would have a cover-up IF he did do it. But who is to say that he isn't the one that killed 2Pac also?????????
