Prom is at times the most obsessive and outrageous word in the whole world. Why? Because some times it makes girls a little crazy. Who’s going to be in the Court or King and Queen, will someone be wearing my dress, and will I have a date? These are all pressing questions that millions of teenage girls are asking themselves this spring. Honestly is prom really necessary? Do teenage girls need to reach a new level of stress for a dance they will probably never look back on? I mean prom is not as big of a deal as a wedding day; it’s just another day only just a little fancier. I found my prom dress already, I already have a clutch and jewelry, the last thing I need are shoes and I already found a great pair. I am prom o.k. and no one needs to worry about my stress level. Prom is a four letter word that came from the word promenade, however it at times just means stressful.

When you are in High school all that is on your to do list is going to school events and enjoying being worry free, Not haveing bills and growing up. SO I think prom is a must when you are popular or a senior that enjoys being with friends.
People do look back on it. I have been in the room during quite a few prom conversations. My father even told me to go to prom just because when I grow up, I might be sad that I didn't have those memories. My dad isnt even that sentimental of a guy. I think it was worth it. My prom was actually pretty great.
