People always talk and complain about having "too much drama" or simply just "hating drama". But stop and think about it... Who creates that drama for them? They're the ones that control what affects them. They're the ones that choose to let it get to their head and affect their life. People create drama for themselves.
Today in class I was on ProU and there were these two girls sitting next to me trashing another girl that I knew. They sat there talking and smashing her and one of the girls used to be best friends with the girl! The one sentence they said that caught my attention the most and made me laugh was "Then she was like, 'I like your necklace'." "Oh my Gosh I hate girls like that. They're sooo fake." This is honestly what these girls do all the time... just sit there and gossip and talk trash. Then they complain about how they have too much drama in their lives. Honestly, it's ridiculous. We're juniors and seniors in high school, but they still act like they're in middle school. Its one thing to not like someone, but verbalizing it will most likely spread the word and have it get back to the person you're talking about. And then what do you get? Drama. People always complain about it but these are generally the consequences of their actions. What happens to them is their own fault. Or maybe these girls just want the attention, and that's exactly what they give them. The kids in another one of my classes always tease and make the "loner" kid do stupid things to amuse their stupidity. The kid they always pick on does it though and what people don't realize is it's for attention and they're feeding his craving for it.
Freshmans, and MAYBE sophomores it's understandable. But when you're a junior or senior, you just need to grow up. You can't act like this when you're in college. You're most likely just going to get stared at like you're an idiot, unless you find people on the same mental level as you are. I at one time succumbed to the myspace and facebook craze. I used to sit around on the computer all the time just wasting my time on these two websites. Then, I got a job and I started realizing that hey, there are more important things in life than a website. Because of this, I deleted both my myspace and my facebook. Well, I did also because of the "drama" that they caused... which was ridiculous also. The NEXT day at school I had people coming up to me in an almost panicked voice asking why I deleted them. I almost feel sorry for these people just because their lives revolve around a website. If they're not on someone's top 8, their world comes crashing down. They see a comment from someone to someone else about them, or a comment from a girl to her boyfriend and automatically assumes that "oh my gosh, he likes her and she likes him. He's going to break up with me." What are these people really doing with their lives? They sit behind a computer screen and basically stalk people, whether it is their boyfriend or their worst enemy, via the internet. Honestly, is this what our generation and the generations after us have become? A website?
There’s more to our lives than a website. We control our lives and what happens in them. Life’s short… Don’t let it get away.

I definitely agree about the website issue!!!!! I still use myspace-it's just the easiest way that I can get a hold of my friends. I'm going to college in Portland, OR while they are going to college in Monmouth, OR. It's about 1hour and a half away. As far as the drama, I agree and disagree. I agree with the fact that most people who have drama circling them all the time is more likely than not the one that's creating it. However, I also believe that no matter where you go where there is people, you are going to have drama, and you're not always gonna be the one that's "throwing wood to keep the fire going," does that make sense. But if you really wanted to you can just walk way from it.
