Are you ready for his return?

Have you ever wondered what the world is really coming to?? Is it time for the world to end?? The world must end soon but is it sooner than we think?

I have learned recently after rereading the book of Revelation that God says that he will not destroy the Earth by water but by fire. Many people along with myself assumed that the very hot summers days were a sign of the fire coming to end the Earth; however, we were wrong. There has also been a lot of strange things happening though. Tornadoes are already here and they normally come in April; it has been snowing in ALABAMA and that never happens; and there's no telling what is going on, on the other side of the world. All the signs are there. It is our choice whether or not we believe them. You are only justified by your faith, not your good works. Are you ready for his return??

Now im not saying that the world is coming to an end now. Im saying that the world is going to end one day and we dont know exactly when they day is. So is it not better to be prepared for that day when you go to heaven rather than not be prepared?

Well, everything is bound to end sooner or later. Something is bound to survive the end of the world, but it probably won't be an organism. But yeah, I think most people these days are not necessarily ready to die, but they know it could happen at any time.

Are you, by any chance, aware of the date December 21, 2012?

I'm not. I don't fear it at all though.

Didn't God say something about when He came back, we wouldn't know when, where, or how?

And isn't the date December 12? (I'm not sure, but I thought that supposed date was the 12th.)

Nothing is going to happen on that day except I'm going to get up, go to work, and go on happily.

If it does, I guess I was wrong. But I'm not looking forward to the world ending on that specific day.

Yes. It is directly between 12/20/2012 and 12/22/2012.

Yeah, I guess it is proven with the Mayan calendar since it finishes itself on that date. It was also somewhere magically traced in the Pentatuch? (That sidenote, I must say I found on Google, so it's probably not so true...)
But a lot of scientists have attested that while the world may not necessarily end, myriad natural disasters will occur on this date.
Which is sort of scary to think about really, that we could be struck by a hurricane or a tornado or an earthquake in four years...

scientists think that there are going to be a bunch of natural disasters on that day because the Mayan Calender is ending?

What scientists are these? :idk:

Oh what a load of shit. You do know that other Mayan calenders go all the way to something like 3450 or something like that? This whole Mayan thing is crap, I even wrote a blog about it. The big deal is that it is the end of an age in the heavens, not of the world but in the stars, it happens every few thousand years, it means nothing.

Exactly.

As far as I know, the only Maya calendar that "ends" in 2012 is the Tun. What about the Tzolkin, the Katun, the Venus calendar, the 1/2 Lunar calendar, and the Sky god calendar they use? Those keep going.

@-) Ummm. So, we have some pretty good scientific explanations for the climate change (even if you don't believe in man-made global warming) and you're attesting it to god?

It's easy to prove man-made global warming. Just launch every single nuke every country has back at the ground. And then we'll all have a jolly old time, huh? =P

Sounds like a party! :dances:

I'm not sure how that proves man-made global warming though. (I do believe it it btw)
