Does anyone have some suggestions for good movies to see to get scared this Halloween? Every year, they come out with a bunch of movies around this time, but they're all the same. I'm sick of seeing movies that have that cliche story line for scary movies. I was personally scared by The Ring, but then seeing The Grudge, The Skeleton Key, Amytiville Horror, and others did nothing for me. Then, the movies like Saw, Final Destination, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre are more funny than scary because they are so freakishly grotesque. You have to admit it's rather farfetched for someone to be killed by a giant construction platform falling on them and flattening them (FD2).

Somebody was telling about how they seen advertised on the Sci-fi channel that supposedly there are 7 or so new unseen movies coming to theaters soon. The movies weren't supposed to be shown because they're too grotesque and scary for the public. i'm unsure if it's just select theaters.
