V- day? D-day!!!

So it's Valentines Day... again. I'm pretty sure St.Valentine did not imagine valentines day to be anything like mine. My school had turned into an emotional battleground. I walked into the battlegrounds only to be flooded with the hot pink and bright red... oh good lord, it's valentines day.

Everyone wakes up with even the slightest bit of hope that some very sexy person will come and claim their love to you.

Then you get to school and the school you thought you knew has turned into a madhouse. Everything is so red and pink ( including all the people) you have to sheild your eyes from the brightness. Then battle your way to first period through the hallways of massive PDA, high pitched ear-splitting screams, and people throwing chocolates to each other. All the nervous energy ( and sugar) explodes with girls "dressed" in red and pink screaming ( in both horror and delight), throwing boxes of chocolates at each other, gossiping about how many valograms so and so got, and just outright sobbing. It's an emotional D-day. By the time everyone had left, all that was left were crushed flowers and ripped valograms all over hte floor.

So much for promoting love!!
How did V-day turn into D-day??? What made possibly the greatest idea for a holiday ( a holiday to love each other!) into this screaming skanky mess!

Thats funny, but true. I was surrounded by these guys dressed in red and black, and they started dancing around me. It was a fraternity. Weird.

Haha, Hallmark and various candy peddlers would not dig this blog.
I love that.
