Discrimination; Racism, Gender, Sexual Orientation... why do you care?

Hello everyone and welcome to my first blog here. Ill start off quickly.

I have decided to use this forum to try and voice something that I have wanted to say to a large group of people for a long time. It seems to be needed because such a large group of people in this world, and on here it seems, are not aware enough of themselves and this world as what is.

No one, not a single person, had a choice on who, how, or why they were born. We all popped into this world and got what we were handed. This simple principle alone should be enough to erase all racist and class based discrimination. We are so lucky we are even here to talk about this, how can you worry about what someone is compared to you?

Other people, like me, who are transgendered, were born a certain way which we later found not to be normal. We then usually correct it in one way or another. Yet so many of you still make fun of something you have no clue about. How can you, not experiencing it yourself? Really?

How can you, as a white person hate all black people? You cannot tell me that ALL black people hate you, or did something personal to you, or that they all act the same so you already know what they are like. Same goes for white people. Or people. Thats the operative word. We are all people and just like house cats we come in many colors, and even some people come in patches, just like cats! And they are treated horribly!

I recently heard someone on here say that they thought being transgendered was learned. While that is grossly untrue, I can tell you one thing that IS. And thats bigotry.

It amazes me how scared some people seem. That is the one quality I think all bigots share. Fear. And it is often masked by aggression. That is a scary and dangerous combo.

Dance!

I never could understand how people could harbor so much hate toward a group of people just because they were a little different. People need to understand that people don't choose to be gay or trans any more than they choose what gender or race they are.

Well, on the bright side, at least they're not denying that we exist. That's something, right?
