For those of you who dont know, tommorow is see you at the flag pole. Its a day where students, teachers, and any other type of supporters pray around the flagpole for our schools and our nation. Many of you may not be "religious", but honestly I think we all would like to strive to have our states and our schools to be a better more safer place. Schools have gone downhill and our nation is at a turning point, we can use all the prayer we could get. So if you have a school near by, or are willing to take a little drive, support your students. Support your school. Pray around the flagpole and unite with the thousands upon thousands across this nation that will be doing it too. Post a comment if your going to help me support this please! Spread the word!
See You at the Flag Pole

If tommorrow is see you at the flag pole to pray day, than I'll be there!! If only we ALL do it together everyday! Power of prayer is more powerful than anything else.
There are alot of people out there who won't like the praying at school. But you know what...If they don't like it than they don't have to join! They need to quit making things so complicated and back off.
When I was in highschool in California....I had a morning prayer group! It was awesome until some students and parents felt threatened by it. We were being made to pray to ourselves so no one hears it. I was appauled by this! Our prayer group kept strong. We prayed out loud...not screaming but in a normal tone. The group was getting smaller and smaller, until there was only four! I guess the heat was getting to the ones that left!
Life would be a better place if only people prayed...It's a form of meditation! A loving bond we all can enjoy! My heart will be with you tommorrow at the flag pole! See you there!! =0D
No offense, but how is this going to make schools any safer?
We prayed every morning before leaving the base when I was in Baghdad and guess what? Soldiers still got killed; Iraqis still got killed. Afterwards, the religious element of the squad cited God's plan as to why our prayers weren't answered. Perhaps it's just because prayer doesn't do anything. If it did, our schools wouldn't be so "bad" (they're really not bad at all when you contrast them with schools in Iraq, Africa, or scores of other countries, but, hey, who cares about them, right?), children in Baghdad could walk to school without fear of being killed, and thousands of people wouldn't be getting massacred in Darfur.
actually youd be surprised how much prayer can do.. i understand how hard that must be.. but have you ever thought of it this way? If you havent prayed.. maybe more of those soldiers would've been killed... that it was because of those prayers that you are still here today.
Yea I totally agree with you Amy. See you at the pole yesterday was amazing we had over 60 people there.
