Have you ever wondered: What makes this person so attractive? What is it about them that makes so many people go crazy over them. I am not even talking about personality-wise because I have met some guys who are not drop dead gorgeous but their personalities are amazing, and therefore are attractive to me. But have you ever seen someone that so many people are in love with or wanna be with and wonder...WHY?
Okay, I am not the prettiest girl in the world. I am not cocky in any way. I have wondered why someone is so attractive, both girls and guys included. Even though I am straight, I look at some girls that guys just fall in head over heels in love with and I look at her and I just wonder what is the big deal? Once in a while I think: What does that person have that I don't have? It's not me being jealous. I am just looking at this girl and thinking: I am not conceited at all because I am not a 10 on the hot scale. On a good day, I might be going for a 6 maybe a 7 if I really get dressed up. And I wonder what does this person have that I don't have? Why don't guys fall in love with me the same way they do with her? Me and her are probably around the same level on the 'hot scale' if you will call it that. And I am not talking about personality. I am talking about people who just see this one person and are just like wow. I want her. And sometimes I ask myself WHY?
I also think about that when I see some guy that a lot of girls go crazy over. And one would expect that I would go crazy over the same guy who all the other girls are going crazy over since I am a woman too. But there are even some guys who girls get all hyped up for and I just wonder: WHY? How come I don't see it? I mean I even clean off my glasses so I can get a better look. Walk up to the guy so I can get a better look. And I still don't see it.
Are my eyes really that bad? Am I losing it? Am I jealous (I don't think I am because I wonder this about girls and guys.) ? Am I just odd? Has anyone else had this problem? Wondering what makes someone's LOOKS (not talking about personality because like I said above there are people who are okay looking and have amazing personalities) so beautiful to everyone but me and maybe another person? And also, Why her and not me? Or for the men, Why him and not me?
The way you carry yourself is really big on attractiveness, too.
You can be on the exact same "level on the scale" as someone else, but if she carries her head high and stands tall, guys will find her more attractive than the other person who is not so confident.

Its all about that . Its like the smell that she gives off the you dont know is there but it sends the signal that she is fertal and it might just be that she has a speaceal something about her

Nice post, good questions. I would have to agree with my fellow commenter and say that much of the time it is a matter of opinion. Kind of like how I find nose rings unattractive, while other guys love them.....well...kinda like that.

You make a very good point. I've done the same thing multiple times. I think that some of the "drop dead gorgeous" girls in my school are only average looking, and the same goes with the guys. It's just a difference in taste, I believe.
