I remember the childhood days of mutual back and face tickles between friends and family. There were even games that came with them. For the back tickling, you had to identify pictures, letters, numbers.
Those were the days of innocence. The days of imagination and sleepovers. It's amazing that things like that today can seem sexual.
Through time, and as bi-products of media, and societal ethics and concerns, homophobia is one of the leading scares.
For children are innocent, no matter their later sexual preference, they are simply being kids. Children are naive about the world.
However, they are taught a man and a women should be the only kind of couple. This day in age, more people are coming out in other shapes, colors, sexual preferences and there is nothing immoral about that. There are black people and white people and purple people and yellow people and green people and orange people(sorry there are no red people and blue people and pink people etc. that would just be silly :-P). There should not be bans or biases or sneers or hierarchies of societal conformity vs. non-society conformity. Differences are what make us unique and special and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
There has been scientific research that homosexual preference individuals have different biological aspects in regards to amount of testosterone and androgens or estrogen and progesterones.
These days anyway, it might confuse children who are coming out. Am i supposed to like a girl or a boy? Biological factors versus societal standards will confuse the hell out of these poor kids. My God. I say, let them be. Whatever they do, it's their choice. No confusion. Just another possible choice for a mate in the later years is all.
We try people on to see how they fit anyway, why not with sexual preference as well?
