Candidate Matchmaker

Hi. My name is Jaspar and this is my first blog.
Here goes!

I am not very interested in the political campaign. We've got Obama and Clinton, McCain and Huckabee and Paul and Gravel. All these debates are making my head spin.

Basically what I have gotten is the Obama is for change but, who knows what kind. Clinton is crazy. McCain is really old and Huckabee is a pretty general guy. I am just getting so confused.

Well I found a cool quiz that breaks down the issues and who is for and against them. I guess it is supposed to help you pick a candidate for the primaries. It is pretty short and it works well at showing the issues. I had a good expirence with it. The quiz didn't really help me as much as finalize my feelings.

It asks questions like: For or Against Gun Control, For or Against Abortion, For or Against NAFTA. Pretty good issues and there are many more questions. It's pretty quick, you're not sitting there answering questions for 10 mins.

I will let the world know what I got.
Mike Huckabee-55%
Ron Paul-45%
John McCain-43%
Mike Gravel-30%
Hillary Clinton-23%
Barack Obama-20%

The quiz is at MyFoxCleveland. I am providing the link.

I'll offer my results after taking the quiz, but I will assure you that there are faults with it that will account for my results:

WHAT I GOT:
Hillary Clinton: 55%
Barack Obama: 53%
Mike Gravel: 40%
John McCain: 28%
Ron Paul: 28%
Mike Huckabee: 13%

WHY I GOT IT: I will tell you now that, voting Democrat, i will NOT be voting for Clinton ever because I think she is not even a considerable choice for President. Even though she was my leading candidate, I feel as if the quiz didn't stress foreign policy choices as much as it should of, because that is where I disagree with Clinton the most. She is inconsistant with supporting foreign policy in Iraq, as well as in the Middle East in general. She has changed her opinion of the War several times, while my choice (Obama) has stood against the situation consistantly.

So, to sum it up, the quiz was fairly accurate in telling me my choice was going to be Dem, and accurate in placing Obama at a CLOSE 53% (2% behind Clinton), but I do know that I will not vote for Clinton, and I will vote for Obama.
