I have this guy friend, just for a background...he is very attractive, but Im not attracted to him at all.
Anyway, he wants to be a Marine. You should know that he is aginst war and all for peace and love. First of all, these two are contradicting.
Second of all, still being in high school, he doesnt think anything matters. I will be doing my homework and I will ask him for help and he will be like haha you actually have to worry about your homework....youre going to college.
He is not involved in any extracurricular activites, because he knows he is going to be a Marine and he does not need to make good grades and try to get into college.
But the othe day, he was talking about his band that he is in and stuff, and i was like, "Well, why does it matter; You're going to be a Marine."
This threw him off guard for a second there. I guess he has not thought about things like that. He can say things dont matter because he does not have to work for anything, he just KNOWS hes going to be a marine.
What if he gets in a big car crash tomorrow?
His whole dream will be ruined. I dont think he can just count on it, something like that cant be so certain.
