Taking Flight Security a Little too Far

Submitted by BHeath03 on Mon, 05/08/2006 - 8:09am. Effective government | Opinion

I just read an article about a woman who was doing her nails on flight 787. Because she was doing her nails the flight had to be diverted. Nail polish is not allowed on commercial flights. I really think they might be taking the security a little too far. I can understand not having nail clippers or files or sharp instruments but nail polish? Yes it can be splashed into someone’s eyes, I know from experience because my ever so wise mother accidentally got nail polish in her eyes when I was like 5 and I woke up to a police officer on my couch, but still. Nail polish?!?

Now that I think about it, and I have read some comments and talked to some people about it I realize I am wrong. The comercial flights and the government do this for our saftey and peice of mind. Thank you to the people who commented and talked to me and made me realize I was in the wrong. :)
