Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "God offers to every mind its choice between truth and repose. Take which you please-you can never have both." Okay, so in human, down-to-earth terms it translates into this; Does my butt look okay in these jeans? When this question is asked the male species tends to give the repose in order to please the female species, never mind the fact that they really are unflattering and will cause embarrassment when out in public. The female species would probably like to hear the repose, but in truth just telling the truth would save her the embarrassment caused by said jeans and in turn instill the male species into good favor with the female species to begin with for their honesty. The last thing any woman wants is for people to be staring at their rear side as they walk down the hall. This could cause them to wonder if you were really telling the truth. If she concludes that you were lying to her, she may in the end see it fit to distrust the male race and in the end they are sleeping on the couch as the saying goes. So, just a little advice for all you guys out there; be truthful, because you can never win when it comes to female.
