I happen to be blessed by living near(ish) to Tinker AFB. I sometimes get to see the jets in the air. June 9th and 10th they are having their Star Spangled Salute... an air show.

June 9 9 a.m. Gates open to the public
(Children’s activities, ground demonstrations, static displays, vendors

11 a.m. Opening ceremony
Noon Aerial demonstrations begin
3 p.m. Bldg 3001 tours
6 p.m. Aerial demonstrations end
8 p.m. Tops in Blue concert
(Special celebrity performer to be announced)
9:30 p.m. Fireworks
10:30 p.m. Air Show ends June 10

Sounds cool. I wanted to join the air force at one point in time, but I changed my mind. I never could decide whether I wanted to fly or jump out of planes.
