Federal Bullying Law Petition

exactly!!! We'd rather you rethink about the Democratic values and give them a chance.

Like for instance,

1. Fiscal Responsibility--Your great-great grandkids will be paying for these tax cuts for the rich and for these CEOs.

2. Environmental protections--You and your family and friends and someday your own children will develope serious medical conditions because of the pollutants the Republicans have allowed to spread in the air and in the water. Things like mercury and lead poisoning. Air pollutants giving people record health problems such as emphazema and asthma. They will eat poisons and breathe poisons that cause cancer. That is because Republicans don't want to regulate business and ask them to be humane to the humans and the environment.

3. Healthcare for more than just the rich. All those pollutants causing deseases will be suffered by people who have no healthcare and can't afford it. Why not? Becuase the Republicans don't want to pay a fair wage and provide healthcare for all. Yet, they don't hesitate to put money in some rich guy's mailbox to help him get his next yacht.

4. Labor unions and labor protections. For instance they recently took away overtime pay from millions of hard working Americans. Labor unions protect people from these tactics but Republicans want to break up unions so they can pay slave wages here or transport jobs overseas to slave labor abroad.

5. National Security--Democrats believe the best way to keep our country safe is to actually follow the guidelines put forth from the bi-partison 9-11 commission. This included 100% inspection of our ports. Republicans have had more than 5 years to improve our port inspection; however, last I heard our ports only inspected 2%-5% of ships in our ports. Think about how they want to sell our national security to another country and the Dubai deal. Think about China who owns our treasury bonds inspecting nukes in the Bahamas right before those ships come to our country.

6. Education-Well, not one teacher respects this NCLB because they're not paying for what they say they are. Additionally, these standardized tests are worth about the same as used toiletpaper. AND that money could be used to actually hire more teachers and get better equipment for students. Studies show that the per capita amount spent per student actually improves their education. That means save the Republican money on test and instead use the Democratic money to hire more teachers and get better equipment.

I could go on, but it seems like your mind is pretty well set. I've tried to imagine what values a Republican stands for. Honestly, I use to vote Republican. But the Republican Party is just not what it use to be.

Anyways, maybe you'll look into the Democratic ideas and decide there is something to them afteral, but in the meantime, thank you for your posts on schools and bullying. It is a serious problem and always has been.
(Though might I say that the Gay Bashing in 04 was the epitemy of political bullying and calling Al Gore and Joe Leiberman "Sore-Loserman" and calling Kerry a "Flip-flop" was also a huge example of political bullying and frankly another reason why I turned away from the Republican party.
