Your ready to give birth, but you are not in a warm familiar place. Instead the people that you hold the closest to you turned their backs to you and pushed you away. The only place that you can rest is on a dirty concrete floor, and you are very lonely now. Not the way you would picture one of the most beautiful aspects of life to happen right? Just think for one minute on how you would feel if something like this happened to you. Thanks South Carolina’s District 30 Senator Kent M. Williams, one gorgeous pregnant German Sheppard was sent to the Marion County shelter to be put to sleep. Four days after her arrival she gave birth to eight little puppies.
This is wrong on so many levels. Senator Williams in my opinion is a heartless person. Being a Senator you should be very familiar with planning out solutions so in the long run you don’t end up making a huge mistake, but apparently Senator Williams is not very good at doing his job. If he did not want puppies to take care of in the long run he should have had his German Sheppard spayed. Also he should be working on a plan to help lower the price to spay and neuter animal companions that way shelters don’t have the threat of being over populated and that will also eliminate the need for kill shelters. Instead of the most logical answer, he is just supporting how tens of thousands of beautiful healthy young dogs die every year in South Carolina.
If you would like to get your feelings known about this case you can feel free to contact Senator Kent M. Williams at: williamsk@scsenate.org . Or at his office address or phone number:
