I am bitter! I'm usually not bitter, really. You see, I am a pretty strong feminist. Strong in comparison to the people I know at least. I believe that men and women are equal in nearly ever sense. The only differences being that men are generally stronger and that women are just generally more attractive (I tease!). Having said this, I get pretty po-ed when women rant about how equal we are but then disagree that women should be made to enlist in the army. If men have to do it, women should as well. We have to take the good with the bad even we really mean it. Where is their backbone? Hypocrites I say! I'm not especially excited by the chance of being drafted, but yeah anyways....those women are not true feminists in my book.
Secondly, I am going to an all women's college and I am worried ><! I already said yes, so there's nothing I can do. And really I don't want to take back my answer! I love the school. It is freakin' awesome. Anyways, so when I was talking to some of their current students it seemed like a lot of the girls came to an all-girls college because they felt that in the co-ed high schools they could never get a word in over the guys in their class. they said that the guys were stealing the class discussion away from them, but that at their all-girls college they were finally able to get something in. It was an empowering experience to finally get the floor, I guess. In my opinion, they're just making up excuses for why they didn't participate in class discussions! If you really, and I mean really, wanted to say something you would say it no matter if there was a boy in the class or not. Excuses, excuses. The school is awesome and I am totally excited to go there, but some of the girls are just some weak feminists.

I have to admit, when I first started reading I thought I was going to disagree with feminism that you supported. I thank you though very much for admitting that everyone should be able to be drafted and such. However, I do think this whole femist thing (and it could expand to racism, Indians and compensation and slavary) is getting ridiculous. Because of all of the minorities feeling alone, it is harder for me to get into college. I know someone from my school that I probably had better grades then get a full ride to University of Michigan for being Black and Indian. But he was just fine, he was not discriminated against, he did not go against all odds to get where he got. He simply did as I did, worked hard and lived his life. I think for the most part stuff is equal, if we keep going in this direction you will be paying white males (they have the hardest time getting accepted to colleges) back for being unfair to them. Seriously people, if you do not like your situation and it is affected because of race or sex, then MOVE. Where I live we all get along and you won't have any problem making friends or getting an education.

Right on!
HA! What the heck are you talking about?! I am really laughing at this comment. Partly because it's just funny. Who are you? Really...who are you?! Ok, so I guess this comment should have some content. It's hardest for white males to get into college my butt! ok, I can agree with the males thing, because it seems that many of the colleges I applied to had a higher female percentage than male, but then nearly every single school is dominated by whites! Of course people of color get a little favoritism...the schools are bleeding white! We need some diversity somewhere in there! I seriously do love how you had the balls to put this up here though. I think I love you.
Well, if you ask me the only good feminist, is a weak one.(I tease) I don't say this because I'm a guy, but guys & girls are in no way the same. Thats a good thing!! One of the biggest lies of the feminist movement is that there are no differences between the sexes! I hope you have an awesome time at college.
Thanks!
I think you've got it a bit backwards though.
Instead of womening having to enlist..men shouldn't have to.
but thats a different subject entirely
