It is absolutely amazing the looks people give me when I explain that I have seven siblings. Of course everything is more understandable when you take into account that my parents divorced and both re-married divorcees with children. If that isn’t enough for you to wrap you mind around, then consider this At one time, My mother and stepfather will have no fewer than four children attending facilities for "Higher Education" With current tuition at about 40,000 for two years you do the math.
So with the price for total “enlightenment” rising at ever increasing rates one does have to wonder . . . what happens to those who cannot afford college?
We have been taught as a society that knowledge is power, and I whole heartedly believe this statement to be accurate, however what price does that power cost us? Too many students are now forced to take out loans, burring themselves deep into debts they may never hope to repay. It is a terrifying issue that we may all face at one time or another.
So what is causing the spike? Inflation? Greed? The increasing demand for higher learning? All three?
The biggest question still lingers on however, How do we pay for college?

Your family sounds like my best friend's escept for so far only two of them have gone on for education. I guess the demand has gone up because of greed which is what caused inflation. All of this is quantified in the total cost of higher education...if it gets too expensive join the military...they pay your debts or your tuition with a very small cost (your life or freedom for a few years) Good luck paying for it all
