Dear Somebody...

Today was actually a pretty good day.
I've been working on my essay for NHS and all of a sudden it just hit me that college is one year away. For some reason that never really hit me like it just did today. Its a lot of money and a lot of decisions that can change your whole life. It also made me realize that all of those things that people told you your whole life about not caring what people think of you and being yourself might not always help you. I mean think about it. Every major decision that you have to make in your life comes down to someone in a higher position judging you and what kind of person you are. Maybe it shouldn't matter what kind of clothes you wear and how presentable you look but the truth is that it does. So take my advice, and start to take some pride in everything that you do. You never know who might be watching you that could make or break your future.
Sincerely,
Me.

I disagree. Sure, dress up for interviews and all that, but changing who you are is not worth it.

Most professional jobs don't let you wear jeans to work, so it might be worth it to attempt to dress up a little and explore what feels good, and what makes you feel good while you still have the liberty to do so.
