I'm not going to lie, I love TV. That's one of the reasons I haven't been blogging lately. But since the producers are being greedy (we all know it to be true), the writers went on strike for higher money from DVD sales and other benefits that they don't have. TV stars like Tina Fey (who is also a writer), Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Eva Longoria, and others are on the picket lines as many TV shows are put on hiatus after they finish airing the episodes already in production.
Since talk shows and late night shows like "The Daily Show" or "Ellen" rely on writers for current news, they were the first to go into reruns. If the writers don't reach an agreement soon, our favorite dramas and comedies will be replaced by tons of reality shows, game shows, and reruns. One show that is on the works is "Farmer Wants a Wife", which was reported by "Entertainment Weekly".
I want the writers to get the fare share they deserve, so I think that an agreement should be reached soon before "Farmer Wants a Wife" or "Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants" hits the airwaves. Did I mention another one that Mark Burnett would be bringing to TV is the game show "My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad".

I do hope the writers get their fair share of DVD profits, but I also hope the TV producers wise up soon. I won't be able to stand an absense of real shows because they've been replaced by brainless reality shows and game shows. Ugh. I shudder at the thought.
is that I hardly have time to watch TV (and since there's only one TV in our dorm hall taht has cable, it's usually used). "Farmer Wants a Wife?" Gaaahhh!
Greed runs all around.
The writers want more than they previously agreed to, so they picked the 'fall sweeps' time to have their strike to 'stick it' to the 'man'
The entire industry is filled with greedy people and MANY very poor people, who are taken advantage of.
In that strike, there is no one with clean hands.
I, however, hope the strike goes on for a long time. Maybe then people will go outside or read.
