Hi everyone. I just thought that I would introduce myself. I am new to this site. I am a junior at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Oh. I am pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education. I want to become a 3rd grade teacher, but one of my dreams is to go work in Africa. Right now I am hoping to go teach over in Uganda for a year after I finish school and get a little bit of experience. I absolutely love school, I have so much fun in all of my classes.
I just moved to Ohio from the Seattle area of Washington state, so I am still getting used to all of the changes, and trust me, there are a lot of them. I miss everyone back in Washington, but I am really happy here in Ohio. I have not gotten much of a chance to make many friends yet, but I know that they will come with time.
Because of the fact that I want to become a teacher, issues in education are something that I really pay attention to, and will probably be the subject of many of my blogs.
I am excited to be able to vote to vote for the first time in a presidential election this year. As of now I am an Obama fan. Which doesn't necessarily go over well in my very republican family. But they don't seem too upset about it. But it does occasion for some interesting dinner table debates.
Well, now that I have told you a little about myself, I would love to get to know some of you.
